"Is it really a year since we had that fantastic turnout for the beach demo?"
Well the answer is of course - Yes!
This year Master Rob has arranged a float with a difference. It is themed as Tae Kwon Disco - I hope you like it - it was all Rob's idea.
Everyone is welcome. Members should come in there suits (dopak) and everyone should think "what can I do to reflect UV?"
The float will have UV lights, we will be promoting our club and and generally having fun.
Please make the effort to come along and join in.
Our club is about using our skills, motivations and time to help and support each other and our community.
One of our new members, Jason Watkins, has taken the time to create a new logo for our club.
Thank you Jason, I know it took a few attempts but we got there with an excellent new logo.
We will use this to supplement our website, printed materials and posters from now on.
Jason deserves a small plug for his efforts and so we have put his website on our links page and would urge you to talk to him if you have needs for a graphics designer. He is very good with movies!
"The total raised to date is £1500 which exceeds all our expectations so it is a great result. Many thanks for all your dedication and well done to those who turned out on the day to kick."
Jon Collins
There was another great appearance of English Taekwondo Association at 2010 Dorchester Carnival. Demonstrations, one to one sparring, newcomers and established club members.
So thank you all for joining in and your support.
Members can see some photos from the carnival here.
Thank you again to Pat Moss for taking the time to upload his photos.
We are still waiting for the final score on this event but as you can see from our photos here there was a fantastic turnout and substantial support from sponsorship to participation.
It is a great cause so please, if you have promised money then please make sure than Master Rob or Jon get this as soon as possible.
Please come and support us at Redlands Sports centre on the 6th June at 10am where we will be kicking for life in an effort to raise cash for Breast Cancer Care.
You can find out more, download sponsorship forms and so on here

Corrected some errors and added more detail on the history section
After many requests we have finally put together a brief history of Taekwondo and included an objective descriptive difference between the two major schools of Taekwondo. That is the Korean based and Olympic recognised WTF and the fragmented Canadian/Austrian based ITF.
Although far from complete we have launched the initial gallery system for Members only.
We have launched our membership facilities onto this website.
We will soon have special members only content into the website. Please get your membership details so that you can take advantage of these new facilities as they are published.
We will keep you updated with current events and other news. Please came back and check often.
